Leaving card for our apple expert

Martin, our app developer and all round apple guru has decided to move on. So, I decided his farewell card had to be inspired by apple. The card stock is actually silver (bit it is very reflective!!) and I used white ink. I made my own stencil from a trace of my macbook logo. The balance is a little “not quite really”, but I think it will do the trick:

Just made it in time to submit to the current Casology challenge, yay. The cue card at casology this week is three: there are 3 words in the sentiment, 3 layers of card stock, and finally three square corners. Have a lovely day and thanks so much for stopping by!! 🙂

Baby shower card

Hello!! 🙂

A colleague is having her first baby soon, and so on Tuesday we are throwing her a “baby shower” as it is her last day at work before maternity leave. I had fun making her a card this weekend for everyone to sign (there are a few pages inside the card so there is tons of room for everyone to write a few words).

Card for Caitlin

The photo was taken with my iPhone. I really enjoyed playing with my distress inks, embossing paste, a simon says stamp exclusive falling snow stencil to create a fun background. I also loved playing with my very cute purple onion stamps to create the scene!! 🙂

Wishing you a speedy recovery card

Wishing you a speedy recovery card

For the first time in a lot of months … I made a card!! 🙂 It felt so good. I enjoyed using some new paper smooches dies, and a fab lawn fawn alphabet stamp, … and most of all the cutest little dude from purple onion designs. I also got to use embossing paste through the simon says stamp falling snow stencil.

Fab card to make, hope my crafty friend that it is for likes it too! 🙂

Have a fab day!! 🙂

Die cuts + distress paints on a thank you card …

One of my favorite types of cards are thank you cards. I find them useful when I am traveling and so many other occasions too… and there is a cool gratitude campaign collection that is put together by Susan Raihala that these can become part of.

Here is a set of 4 thank you cards that I made the other day using my new “My Favorite Things” alphabet die and my “Simon Says Stamp” you stampset, along with my wonderful distress paints.
