I know that someone used this stamp on a blog that I follow … and I went “wow, I have to get that stamp!!” … and I did but it was quite a long time between the noticing it and purchasing it phases … so apologies but I can no longer remember who inspired this card. Isn’t this image great! 🙂
I saw this great card by Ardyth which had white embossing on white cardstock, and I thought … “I need to try this” …. so this is my first attempt 🙂
I decided to splurge and get a new alphabet die, and I went with My Favorite Things. Fabulous die, cuts like butter 🙂 … also enjoying continuing to play with my distress paints!! 🙂
I love Penny Black’s hedgie stamps, and I brought one yesterday … and of course had to make a card with it straight away. I used distress inks: pumice stone and tumbled glass as well as inktense pencils.
The earthquakes we are experiencing here in Wellington have given me an unexpected day at home today. Crafting seemed like a good option (when I wasn’t working from home). I played with my new rubbadubbadoo boat stamp. I am enjoying creating one layer cards. I have been really taken with the cards created by Sanketij and thought I would have a go …
… and look at that, this card fits the nautical challenge from the curtain call, the by the sea challenge from Simon Says Stamp and the one-layer Wednesday challenge perfectly.
Another rubbadubbadoo stamp … I haven’t quite finished this card, I suspect it may end up with some words in the top right of the card at some point … but I also kind of like all of the white space.
This stamp reminded me of my dog River Song. She loves to dig in her sand pit … but the other day she decided to dig in my pot plants. Poor plants, and poor carpet … but she was a very happy puppy, cute little rascal:
River resting after spending time in her sandpit … check out her nose and paws for the digging evidence 🙂
I really love the humor in the rubbadubbadoo stamps, and I loved this image from the moment I saw it. I am, however, really struggling to color the cat, he never turns out right.
